After years of business travels, tight schedules, and late-night emails, I found myself at a crossroads in 2024. A quiet longing had grown into a desire for a slower and more connected way of life.
So when we first drove up the winding road to this B&B for sale, something inside me clicked. This place had a soul. A history. The scent of orange blossoms filled the air, and the rolling hills seemed to whisper: “stay!”. And so, we did.
With my husband Jeroen and our beloved dog Brownie by my side, I poured my love for design into every corner of the B&B, creating a place that blends rustic charm with a deep respect for the environment.

What a great place this is! With the orange trees around you, a view of the sea in the distance and the whistling birds as the only sound, you can completely relax here! There is a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended!

We visited Alicante, Elda (a must for shoe lovers), Altea (Spain's own very authentic "Santorini" like town), La Roda beach and many more. Last but not least: watching the beautiful sunrise straight from your comfortable bed at La Ruta Naranja makes you realize... que la vida es una sola!
